FPC is an English-speaking church in a Dutch-speaking country and was begun through the ministry of Rev. Geoff Donnan in 1978. FPC has always been closely connected to the ministry of Christian Liberty Academy (CLA) in Suriname and uses the auditorium of CLA. A number of members have a relationship with CLA, either by working there or by having their children enrolled. A number of former students of CLA have become members of FPC and we praise God that an increasing number of present students have been attending and some have expressed interest in membership. Rev. & Mrs. Rudy Poettcker (members of King’s Reformed Presbyterian Church in Fellsmere, Florida) are on loan from that church to work in Suriname with both FPC and CLA. For more information on the work in Suriname, visit www.reformation.edu . Visit the bottom of the first page for a view of the fire rebuilding effort and the Field page on Suriname for more information on the ministry.
